Sold Out Program
for students grades 7-12
What does it mean to be Sold Out?
Well, unlike some of the students you may know at school that are selling themselves out sexually in relationships, being Sold Out means to be wholly into waiting to have sex. with your future spouse only. Why wait until marriage to have sex? This is the question that is addressed by the Sold Out program.
During this 3-4 day program students are encouraged to think, reason out and come up with their own ideas about why it is personally beneficial for them to be sexually abstinent until marriage. And because there are obvious differences among students from 7th grade to high school, the Sold Out program presentations are adjusted in such a way as to age appropriate to best meet students needs.
Topics
Topics
Some of the topics discussed during the presentations include valuing and evaluating ones self, the truth and consequences of pre-marital sex, the benefits of sexual abstinence, renewed virginity, relationships and the value of marriage. Students are encouraged to actively engage during the presentation through a variety of different activities including interactive demonstrations, games, class discussions, a Power Point presentation and other class activities.* Students often comment on how helpful the visual and interactive activities are in helping them to learn more about these topics.
Another benefit of the Sold Out program is that it has age-appropriate presentations for 7th grade through high school. In this way, students can gain new information on the topic of abstinence until marriage year by year that they can build upon throughout their teen years.
