One Man's Story...
 

I was in college when it happened. We were not in a serious relationship but I cared for her.

One day she called me. There was something different in her voice, and I immediately grew concerned. Then she said something I will never forget: "I'm pregnant and I'm taking care of it." She shut me down. No discussion. No welcomed input in the decision-making process. No thought to what I might want to do. It boiled down to my having no choice. I think that's what bothered me the most.I struggled for years afterward. That day haunted me. I can remember just giving up--not caring about things like I used to. I became numb in so many ways. Drugs and alcohol became an escape and pornography an outlet. I just didn't care anymore. I hurt inside and out, and I didn't know what to do about the pain I was carrying inside me. Then I found healing through PSC's STRONGG For Men. After all of these years, I feel like the man God has always created me to be--and I'm finally at peace.

PSC’s STRONGG group for men is dedicated to helping men find hope and healing from the pain of having been involved in an abortion experience.

Our mission is to assist men in their personal journey towards healing from the emotional and spiritual trauma of abortion, by providing caring support, education, and guidance ultimately resulting in restoration or promotion of their relationship with our heavenly Father.
 
We are committed to the truth that abortion does have a devastating impact on men. We are committed to the truth that there is healing and restoration for the man who seeks it.
 
Maybe you did not know of the pregnancy until after the fact. Perhaps you knew, but separated yourself from the decision.
Did you oppose the abortion, but it happened anyway? Do you regret having insisted on the abortion? Perhaps you where not the father of the child, but paid for the abortion.
 
It is healthy for men who have been affected by an abortion decision to grieve the loss of the child and to find healing and closure from the wounds that abortion inflicts on a man’s emotions and spirit.
 
STRONGG for Men is a confidential 11 week Bible Study that helps men work through the many issues that affects him.

STRONGG for Men offers Healing a Father’s Heart. A Bible Study that is safe and confidential. A place for men to build trust and confidence in a safe and private setting. Within these groups a man can explore his true feelings surrounding the abortion and find forgiveness, healing and restoration.
